ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

“The second edition of the biggest in Silesia Extreme Sports Festival – Extreme Day is coming with a vengeance! On the first Saturday of June (06/06/2015) in Park Wiśniowiec in Rybnik a show full of extreme emotion will be held!

– Dirt (BMX, MTB) for points in FMB World Tour,
– Rybnik Fourcross Cup
– Mountainboard Boardercross – for points in ATB Polish League,
– Freestyle Mountainboard,
– Aggressive Skate within the Polish Rolling League

AND MANY MORE:
– Sports Workshops
– First Aid training
– After Party in Rybnik city center
– Chillout Sunday by Rybnik Reservoir recreational area …
… and a variety of different attractions also for bystanders!

X-day 2014

We encourage you to come already on Friday and stay with us for all weekend till Sunday. We plan an afternoon riding on Friday and a “Before Fire” beside Rybnik Reservoir recreational area and after the Festival a chillout Sunday on the track and by the reservoir with a wakeboard surprise for the riders!

Extreme Day Festival is  created by people strongly connected and interested in all sport activites, the people who has been organizing competions in individual disciplines from years. The Festival’s mission is to strengthen ties between these people, promote alternative sport disciplines and one of the most important to influence the development of Wiśniowiec Park in Rybnik.

With the great help of Rybnik City Council, which is co-financing the Festival.

Morever, the Festival is supported by bike, mountainboard and rollers active members.…

The development of bike lines will be coordianted by Szymon Godziek, the most recognizable MTB rider in Poland, 10th rider in FMB World Tour 2014 classification. The team responsible for bike lines will be complemented by Bartosz Giemza, multiple Polish Master of BMX Racing, who creates a professional parks and Artur Nowakowski Rybnik Fourcross League organizer.

The Mountainboard competitions will be coordinated by Piotr Damec, multiple Polish Master in Slalom and Polish ATB League organizer and Krzysztof Dybczak, multiple Polish Champion in Mountainboard, who will coordinate the development of Boardercross track and Freestyle lines.

Michał Szczyrbowski will be responsible for the Aggressive Skate competition – Master of Poland in Senior category and Tomasz Przybylik, at present one of the best roller rider in Poland (3-fold Master of Poland in Masters category).

The promotion and organization of the Festival will be supported by  Sfera Sportu agency, the organizer of Dirt Jumping Cup the largest series of Dirt events in Poland with Krzysztof Magier as a leader.

In addition, the festival involves more than 20 volunteers and active members who will help in organization of the event.
